i love God becoz God loves me.
This is why i serve him with my all.
i appreciate whatever he gives me and i dont want to compare.
the end is not abt the rewards,
but it's a closer relationship with Jesus.
God's blessings dont always come in the forms that we expect them to. many times before we start complaining about God, we should examine our lives.
have we been giving God our best? in not just our ministry, but also in our studies, family etc.
we reap what we sow, we reap the consequences of unwise decisions.
the parable of the lost son reminds me of God's grace. we shouldn't be like the older son, who gets jealous over the brother who repented and received God's grace.
who are we to dictate/limit how God should work in the lives of other people? even for those who have already left church.
bottom line is.. i love God becoz God loves me. This is why i serve him with my all. i appreciate whatever he gives me and i dont want to compare with other christians who seem to receive more. or backsliders/non-christians/non-committed christians who don't seem to "deserve" the blessings the end is not the rewards, but it's a closer relationship with Jesus.
i want to remember and live by this conviction forever and ever.
